Since its creation in 2002, Nude takes part in the alternative scene of Paris, France.
With the firsts EP released in 2003 and 2005, nude’s music is characterized by indie/noise ambiances and bands like Sonic Youth, The Cure, Radiohead, Deus, Tool or the first Genesis period.
Along compositions made from improvisations guided by their emotions, the four members of nude put themselves in a perpetual danger, and sometimes surf on the fringe of rythmic and melodic destruction
Nude’s first album “LOVE” was born during summer 2008 from this research work. The record delivers massive raw pieces of near movie soundtracks along with more traditional formatted , shorter and percussive songs. An alliance of variations, broken rythms, hypnotic voices and melodic quietness.
Nude’s second album – work in progress – continues in this movement and let other inspirations appear on a more detailed and colorful mode.
When nude’s music immerse the audience in an enveloping ambiance and shakes conventions, even sometimes at the limit of pop music and experimentation, it’s for the members of nude a way of art making, the expression of a state of mind.
